The paper is conducted to reveal general rules of side collision accidents,the dynamic response characteristics copilot occupant,the copilot damage distribution,the injury factors which provide a reference background knowledge for the injury protective technique.The method of accident analysis combined with computer simulation is used in this paper.The analysis of accident statistics is divided into two parts: First,through collecting and sorting 1850 side collision accidents in the traffic police database in the main city zone of Chongqing during the past 2010-2013 years,the law of side impact accidents,the characteristics of personnel injury and the causes of accidents in Chongqing city were summarized.Secondly,according to the accident caused by side collision,100 typical accidents were selected,and the collision form,vehicle type and speed in the car-car side collision accident were analyzed.The content of computer simulation is also divided into two parts:(1)The finite element model is established according to four typical accidents which were selected.The accidents were reconstructed to reproduce the dynamic response process of occupant by the analysis software LS-DYNA.The damage characteristics of the occupants at different collision positions and different side impact velocities are compared.(2)Based on the characteristics of occupant injury,the vehicle side collision simulation model built by CATIA is applied to study the influence of side impact angle,collision speed and location on the dynamic response of the assistant driver.According to the statistics of 1850 accidents in the traffic police database,it is found that the main objects of the side collision accidents in the main urban area of Chongqing are mainly small cars,where the injured parts are concentrated on the upper part of the body,The head is the most important part of the injury.Based on the established Bayesian network of side impact accidents in Chongqing,it is concluded that the most important cause of serious accidents is the road surface damp and the illegal behaviors of drivers,and the intersection type is the main reason for causing general accidents.According to the analysis of 100 typical accidents in the database,According to the analysis of 100 typical accidents in the database,it is found that the side impact accidents at other angles and vertical sides are the most,and the collision speed of the main collision vehicle is generally higher than that of the vehicle being touched,which is concentrated in 40km/h-8km/h.The reconstruction of 4 typical accidents shows that the occupants at the near collision place are mainly head injuries.Therefore the damage to the occupants has a significant correlation with the speed of the collision.(1)It is found that in the copilot passengers and the collision zone is close to the HIC value,in the process of side collision,the maximum of the copilot occupant chest acceleration is obviously higher than that of A and C in areas far away from the copilot passengers by side impact finite element on the parameter analysis.(2)With the increase of the side impact angle,there are changes in the copilot crew HIC,pelvic stress,chest wall velocity,but no obvious regularity.The regularity between them is not obvious,but the maximum value occurs when the side impact angle is 90 degrees.(3)As the speed of the vehicle increases,the damage parameters of the copilot crew increase significantly.
