China has a vast territory,in order to meet the needs of economic development and people's life,highway development is indispensable.Since the expressway of Shanghai Putuo District to Jiading District was opened to traffic smoothly,the expressway of our country has developed by leaps and bounds.At present,the highway traffic mileage of nearly 136000 km,greatly improved the traffic conditions in China.With the increase of service life,the expressway of our country has entered the large-scale maintenance and maintenance stage one after another,because of the huge base,it needs a large amount of maintenance and repair cost every year.In view of the functional damage of asphalt pavement,it is urgent to have a maintenance and repair technology with high economic benefit.And micro-surfacing.Maintenance technology has become one of the effective methods for highway asphalt pavement maintenance with its good road performance and economic benefits.As a preventive maintenance technology of asphalt pavement,micro-surfacing has the advantages of fast construction speed and repairing pavement defects.Low cost,extend pavement service life and other advantages.It has been widely used in highway maintenance abroad.The engineering practice shows that the micro-surfacing maintenance technology has a high performance-to-price ratio and has been applied to some freeways in China to a certain extent.With the extensive application of micro-surfacing maintenance technology,the problem of low wear resistance and adhesion is becoming more and more prominent,and it is difficult to achieve the expected service life..The service life of micro-surfacing in foreign countries is usually more than five years,but in our country it is only 2 ~ 3 years,or even shorter.In our country,the maintenance technology of micro-surfacing is mature in material composition and construction technology,but how to improve the wear resistance of micro-surfacing and the adhesion between micro-surfacing and asphalt pavement.Based on the research and application of micro-surfacing maintenance technology at home and abroad,this paper makes further analysis and research on the use of micro-surfacing in asphalt pavement maintenance.Anti-wear performance of Asphalt concrete pavement in Guizhou Expressway.The influence of high viscosity asphalt modifier on the wear resistance of micro-surfacing is analyzed and studied,because of the problems of low adhesion and insufficient adhesion,and the service life is not up to the expected life.The overburden test and cohesion test of high viscosity asphalt modifier on the wear and adhesion of micro-surfacing were carried out.The corresponding conclusions were drawn,the service life of micro-surfacing was prolonged,and the engineering economy was improved.Some problems in the use of micro-surfacing are suggested,and its future development is prospected.The mixture of high viscosity modified emulsified asphalt prepared with RST-P modified asphalt modifier can improve the micro-surfacing.The wear resistance of the mixture and the adhesion of the mixture to the surface of the object under maintenance reach the purpose of prolonging the service life of the micro-surfacing and improving the technical economy of the whole life cycle of the mixture.The results show that RST-P modified asphalt can increase the wear resistance of micro-surfacing by 30%,prolong the maintenance and repair cycle of freeway,and have good technical and economic benefits.
