Research On Transportation Space Design Of Industrial Heritage Protection And Reuse In The Perspective Of Narratology

With the advent of the post-industrial era,many cities in China have to face the problem of urban transformation in order to seek long-term development.The upgrading of industrial structure and the adjustment of the industrial layout of the city led to the decline of some traditional industrial areas and their surrounding physical environment.Some of the remaining industrial areas have been assessed as industrial heritage due to their unique historical and cultural values,and have become the primary targets for urban redevelopment.This paper aims to explore the narrative space planning and design methods for the creation of industrial space heritage and the improvement of space environment quality,cultural connotation and site vitality in industrial heritage protection,and finally achieve the goal of full rejuvenation and sustainable development of industrial heritage area.Based on the analysis of the practical problems in the reuse of domestic industrial heritage transportation space,the principles,strategies,and methods of spatial reuse of industrial heritage transportation under the perspective of narratology are proposed.Taking Huangshi Huaxin Cement Plant in Hubei as an example,the narratology-oriented Practice and Exploration of Reuse of Industrial Heritage Transportation Space.The full text is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the basic research part,which elaborates the origin of the paper,the specific research objects and content,the relevant research at home and abroad,research methods and framework.The second chapter is mainly an overview of traffic space planning for reuse of industrial heritage and analysis of existing issues.The third chapter analyzes the relevance of the narratological theory and the spatial reuse planning of industrial heritage transport,and concludes that the narratological theory can guide the spatial planning design of industrial heritage transportation.The fourth chapter is based on the content of the previous chapter,specifically puts forward the principles of traffic space design from the perspective of narratology,and on this basis puts forward specific strategies and methods of reuse.The fifth chapter is to explore the application of theory in practice.The introduction of the Huaxin Cement Plant in Huangshi City,Hubei Province,as a concrete case,explores how strategies and methods can be implemented in practice.
