Research On The Design Of Contemporary Pedestrian Commercial Block Space Based On Traditional Settlement Space Prototype

If the Chinese traditional urban space is a symbol of imperial power politics,The traditional settlement space is the embodiment of public opinion.The traditional settlement space in China is the accumulation of thousands of years of traditional culture and wisdom in life,which eventually formed an organism with rich cultural connotations.While the modern urban space is split by industrial culture,the traditional space culture is at stake.This article selects pedestrian commercial block space as the object of study,through the exploration of urban comprehensive background of urban construction,era culture and era economy,we find that many problems exist in the modern pedestrian commercial block space,the space types cannot meet the needs of the current era and the rich traditional settlement space connotation needs to be inherited.This article introduces the prototype theory,which intended to apply the prototype of the traditional settlement space in the contemporary pedestrian commercial block space to enhance the contemporary pedestrian commercial block space.The study this article start with the three characteristics of“derivation","dependency" and "conversion",and elaborates the relationship between the traditional settlement space and the pedestrian commercial block space in the space-time to prove that the two spaces are in good agreement.By explaining the three words of "walking","interactivity" and "sense of place",it proves that the conformity of the connotation of traditional settlement space and the demand of pedestrian commercial block space.This article takes the traditional settlement space as the prototype,extracted the prototype of the traditional settlement space from the aspects of material form and emotional pursuit.Through the research of practical cases,to summary the application method of the traditional settlement space prototype in the contemporary pedestrian commercial block space,.thus creating a contemporary pedestrian commercial block space with rich experience such as "walking"，"interaction",and "sense of place"Finally,through the practice of spatial design for Nanmenxi Pedestrian Commercial block space in Zhangpu Country,the theoretical research was applied to the actual design.Through the combination of theory and practice,explaining the referential significance of traditional settlement space in designing the contemporary pedestrian commercial block space.
