Iron,dust,oil sludge and other impurities can be produced during the process of processing,storing and transporting of hydraulic cylinder.After completing the assembly of the hydraulic cylinder,there will be severe friction between the impurities or fouling and the sealing ring during the expansion of the piston rod.As consequence,the seal ring is worn and fractured,the cylinder wall is damaged and the cylinder is released,which results in slow lifting or lifting can not happen of the hydraulic cylinder.So before the assembly of hydraulic cylinder,the cylinder must be cleaned,ensuring that the cylinder has a certain degree of cleanliness.The hydraulic cylinder has the characteristics of large ratio of length to diameter,small inner diameter and inner grooves.Traditional manual cleaning and other industrial cleaning methods can clean the inner wall of cylinder,but with low cleaning efficiency,and high amount of residual pollutants.Ultrasonic cleaning technology is the ultrasonic cavitation produced by ultrasonic vibration in cleaning liquid,ultrasonic cavitation repeatedly impacted and cracked the adhesive layer adhered to the surface of the workpiece,so as to remove dirt.Ultrasonic cleaning has the characteristics of no dead zone cleaning,high cleanliness,safety and environmental protection.In this paper,through the study of ultrasonic cleaning technology,a set of four trough ultrasonic cleaning equipment used for cleaning the hydraulic cylinder is designed,which realizes the automation of the cleaning process,and the cleanliness of the cylinder after cleaning reaches the required requirements.The main contents of this paper are as follows:The main factors that affect the ultrasonic cleaning effect are analyzed by aluminum foil corrosion test firstly.And determined when the ultrasonic power density in0.60W/cm~2—0.84W/cm~2,ultrasonic frequency is 28 KHz,the temperature of the cleaning fluid in 40?—60?,the distance between cleaning workpiece and oscillator is 300mm-780 mm has better cleaning effect.Secondly,according to the test results of aluminum foil and the characteristics of hydraulic cylinder,the parameter selection and structural design of cleaning equipment arecarried out.A special four trought cleaning mechanism is designed,and an automatic loading / unloading mechanism is designed to automate the cleaning process and reduce labor intensity.The finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench is applied to the finite element analysis of the automatic feeding mechanism in the cleaning equipment.The analysis shows that the designed mechanism will not occur fracture,resonance and other phenomena.The designed mechanism meets the design requirements and is verified in practice.Finally,the cleaning machine control system is designed to realize the automation and visual operation of the cleaning process,and the actual cleaning experiments of different types of hydraulic cylinders are carried out after the debugging.The cleaning results showed that the qualified rate of cylinder cleanliness is over 97%,and the cleaning time is curtailed by 50%,so the efficiency is greatly improved.
