As a pivotal component of storing propellant for launch vehicle,storage tanksare the source of remainder particles.The storage tanks with large volume and complex internal structure are easy to accommodate the remainder particles,resulting in reduced product reliability.The present cleaning technology of storage tanks with complex processand high human costs is difficult to realize the quantitative control and standardization operation of redundant objects.Thus,it is significant to research the design and manufacture of an automatic cleaning system of remainder particles for storage tanks of launch vehicle.The first automatic cleaning equipment of remainder particles for storage tanks of launch vehicle was developed.Combined with the actual site and process,the structural design and safety check,motion control design and analysiswas achieved with experimental verification.First of all,on the basis of fully studying the cleaning methods of domestic and foreign tanks,the general situation of the automatic cleaning system program was carried out by analyzing the cleaning process of remainder particles of storage tanks and the characteristics of the existing hydraulic tower structure.According to the large size of the system,the mobile operation and other characteristics,the system is divided into transport subsystem and cleaning subsystem.Then,detailed design and analysis was processed for the transportation subsystem and the cleaning subsystem.SolidWorks,UG and other three-dimensional software were employed for the detailed design of the structural size,simulation assembly and coordination test.According to the characteristics of different subsystems,hydraulic,motor and other driving methods were selected as the driving method.The strength stiffness analysis and safety check were carried out by using ANSYS software,and a design flow of automatic tank cleaning system based on strength safety check and structural parameter optimization was established.At last,the control scheme of the automatic cleaning system was designed,and the friendly human-computer interface was constructed.According to the different cleaning processes and requirements,ultrasonic cleaning and water-jet cleaning experiments were carried out.The process effectiveness of the system and the coordination of existing operational towers was fully validated.Through the field test of the equipment,it shows that the automatic cleaning system fulfills the requirements of cleaning up the remainder particles for storage tanks of China.It can effectively improve the efficiency of the tank cleaning and improve the reliability of the cleaning of the remainder particles and make the standardized operation of the cleaning of the remainder particles and quantitative control possible.
