Study On Mechanism And Equipment Of Cold Roll Forming Of Spline

The involute spline shaft is widely applied in occasions with large transmission load and high centring accuracy,and it is of great significance to improve the manufacturing capacity and processing level for the development for its and related industries.Cold roll forming is a new method with high efficiency,high accuracy and high material utilization for external spline processing.Based on the theory of cold roll forming,the forming mechanism and key parameters of involute spline rubbing process are simulated.Combining the slip line method,the metal flow characteristics in the process are analyzed on the basis of the tooth shape change of each stage,which are biting,rough roll forming,fine roll forming and seceding.Based on the orthogonal test method of numerical simulation,the changing law of the forming force of the material(mechanics characteristics),speed and friction coefficient on the process,especially in the stages of biting,rough roll forming are reached,and that can provide theoretical basis for the control of processing parameters.Based on the research above,the characteristics of vertical cold roll forming equipment and its outfit are integrated,including the design process of cold rock rolling machine and its transmission system.The strength and modal analyses are carried out,which can provide reference for the design of the cold rock rolling machine.For the outfit based on cold rock rolling machine,the ball joint robot is designed to facilitate the motion planning,and the connection between the robot and the CNC machine tool is realized on the basis of PLC.This dissertation researched on the changing rule of the process parameters of the spline cold roll forming process,the manufacture of the spline shaft and the connection mode of the outfit.It can provide a useful reference for improving the manufacturing process and equipment level of the spline shaft.
