During the operation of the railway vehicle,the bogie needs to endure all kinds of loads.At the same time,the dynamic performance of the vehicle should also be guaranteed.Bogie frame is one of the most important components of the bogie,and its function is load bearing and load transmitting.Therefore,frame reliability is always the key point of bogie analysis.Along with the development of finite element reliability technology and computer technology,it builds a good foundation for reliability analysis,which has widespread use in the field of vehicle engineering.The paper selects a bogie frame as the research object,which from certain metro vehicles of our country.It studies on strength of the bogie.In the analysis of the static strength for the frame,several random factors of the frame have been taken into the consideration.The frame finite element model is created in ANSYS workbench environment and its static strength is calculated according to the strength theory of material.Meanwhile,the fatigue strength of the frame is also analyzed in this paper by using the evaluation method of UIC-ORE.The analysis result shows that both of the static strength and the fatigue strength of the frame all meet the relevant requirement in terms of constant factors.The further study on static strength reliability is starting with considering the randomness of the factors of the bogie frame.The paper determined two reliability condition according to the result of static strength analysis,and carried out the analysis by using Six Sigma Analysis,which is a reliability analysis module integrated in ANSYS Workbench.Due to the difference of the failure state equations and loads,in the simulation,the reliability of two both can't meet 100%.So the reliability of the frame statics strength under the exceptional loads condition can't be regarded as dependable.The sensitivity analysis find out the factors which most influence the frame static strength,the result shows that the transverse load and vertical load on the beam have significant impacts on static strength.
