The rapid development of China’s economy since the reform and opening up, subway, light rail, a mode of transportation city rail transit tram to the advantages of large capacity, high efficiency, low carbon and environmental protection, has become the first choice to solve the traffic problem in many big city. Rail vehicle bogie--bogie is one of the key technologies of vehicle running safety and comfort, and architecture, the bogie is key in the operation of the vehicle bearing components bearing force, not only from the body, but bear force from orbit, motor and brake system, so the strength design structure whether meet the requirements directly in relation to the vehicle’s safety. Study on the steering frame has been a research focus in rail transit industry.This paper applies with the speed of 120km/h town development company of the Metro Bogie Frame as the model, the simulation analysis of its strength, in order to ensure the safety of the steering frame structure is designed to meet the requirements.In this paper, through the large-scale finite element software ANSYS to establish the speed 120km/h Metro Bogie Frame Finite Element Analysis model. Combined with the International Railway Union standard UIC615-4 "bus vehicle power bogie strength frame structure test" and EN 13749 "Railway applications-to standard method of test specified in frame structure requirements of the architecture, calculation of structural strength analysis for extraordinary load, special extraordinary load, operation load and the additional load conditions, complete the finite element stress architecture in the relevant conditions alone and combined load calculation, static strength evaluation and fatigue strength of structure. The results show that the bogie can meet the provisions of UIC615-4 standards such as static strength and fatigue strength requirements.According to the results of the analysis frame strength, the speed of 120km/h Metro Bogie Frame manufacturing process is put forward to improve measure. By using the high stress area key weld toe TIG remelting and high stress zone should be polished surface of the parent metal, to reduce structural stress concentration, to improve the fatigue strength of the structure, in order to reduce the manufacturing error of adverse effects on the bogie frame fatigue strength.At the end of the structure modal analysis with finite element method, get the natural dynamic characteristics of Architecture:the natural frequencies and the corresponding vibration type frame. Show frame with high rigidity, no obvious weak parts.
