Research On The Application Of Social Network Analysis In Organization Management Of Agent Construction System

As one of the major reform measures of our country's investment system,the government-funded project which implementing agent-construction system has gradually replaced the traditional mode of government investment project management and has achieved positive results in actual implementation.Agent-construction system enhanced the level of government investment project management and the level of efficiency.However,the difficulties faced by the implementation of agent-construction system are also becoming more and more obvious.The main reason for the difficulty of agent-construction system projects is the organization management issues caused by the special and complex organizational structure of agent-construction system projects and the defect of the traditional engineering project organization management.From the perspective of the organization management of engineering projects,the limitations of the traditional engineering project organization management become more obvious with the progress of the times.The management scholars have started to use a mature social science method,the Social Network Analysis method is called SNA method for short,was introduced into the study of the organization management of engineering projects.As the project organization itself has a clear feature of social and network,and the main object of SNA research is the relationship between actors in social networks.Therefore,the social network analysis method was selected for the issue of organization management of agent-construction system project.The research purpose of the dissertation is to promote the cooperative relationship among the various stakeholders of the agent-construction system project,thereby improving the organization management level of the agent-construction system project project,more effective management of the government-invested agent-construction system project.Based on this,this study based on the theory of organizational management and integrates the characteristics of agent-construction system projects,introduces the social network analysis method in the social sciences category.The logical thinking of the application of social network analysis to the organization and management of agent-construction projects is summarized and the definition of relationship types and the necessity of selecting analytical indicators are analyzed and explained.Then uses the social network analysis software UCINET to establish a multi-relationship social network model for the selected construction engineering projects and make quantitative analysis.And draw the following main conclusions:(1)Based on organizational theory,principal-agent theory,and stakeholder theory,the research applied the social network analysis method to selected case of agent-construction system project,and established a social network model of composite relationships and singlerelationship social network model for its project organization,and analyzed the network indicators such as Density,Centrality,Cliques.(2)The network model and the results of the indicator analysis all indicate the importance of the status of the agent-construction company to the entire agent-construction system project organization.The analysis of the social network density of the composite relationship indicates that the incompact connection between the stakeholders has led to a relatively weak social network.The analysis of Centrality and Cliques indicated that agent-construction institution and agent-construction company are in a dominant position in relation and control of other stakeholders.In the single relation social network model,the indicators of various types of relationships are analyzed,which reflects the key points that need to be emphasized in each type of relationship.The results of model and index analysis reflect the characteristics of the agent-construction project and show the problems in the organization and management of the agent-construction project.
