Expressway is not only the important infrastructure of our country,but also the important carrier of constructing modern integrated transportation system,and it plays a significant role in advancing regional economic development,national defense construction and the unity of all ethnic groups.Under the guidance of the adjusted national highway network planning,there has been a historic breakthrough in highway construction mileage.The question of the balance of supply and demand between the scale of expressway construction and economic and social development has also become a particularly important issue before the planning and construction of the highway.In order to avoid the contradiction between supply and demand as far as possible,It is of great significance to analyze the development of rational scale construction of expressway under the new normal state of economy.In this paper,the domestic and foreign research on the reasonable scale of expressway in recent years has been combed and summarized,and on the basis of the previous studies,the author has put forward the rational research ideas that meet the practical and local needs.Using the improved connectivity method to calculate the mileage of freeway.Then using TransCAD and simple linear regression method to analyze and verify whether the mileage of scale is similar to the mileage measured directly.Afterwards,the main factors influencing the scale mileage are found out by comparing the measured mileage.Finally,DEA model is used to evaluate the efficiency of scale number,and Dea-BBC model can be used to calculate the expressway mileage scale benefit of this province,and then this paper according to the mileage and the mileage scale analyzes the expressway mileage scale which is most suitable for the local economic development.This paper mainly focuses on how to find out the reasonable scale in the total mileage of the highway.Based on this method,the scale mileage of each region and the input-output factor data are applied to the data envelope.Calculate the economies of scale in each region,analyze the number of miles scales that are suitable for the economic development of each region,and then calculate the total mileage scale.That is to say,this article analyzes the scale of returns in scale construction,uses the multiple regression model and Evieviw 8.0 software to analyze the rationality of the model,and finally validates reasonable highway scale intervals.Based on the analysis of the scale benefit,comprehensive benefit and technical benefit of the expressway in Qinghai province,the reasonable scale of 8500-9000 km is found out under the best economic condition.The purpose of the study is to find out the direction of sustainable and healthy development of the reasonable scale construction of expressway which is more suitable for local characteristics and can effectively promote the construction of reasonable scale of expressway.
