With the continuous improvement of China’s economic level,the domestic tourism industry has been also developing rapidly,and the economic scale and the number of trips of the tourism industry have reached new highs year by year.Based on the good accessibility of expressways and the increase in the proportion of residents traveling on their own,expressways are still the first choice for traveling.As a result,residents’ demand for expressway services has increased.In particular,the service area,as an important window for highways to open to vehicles and provide services,needs to keep pace with the times and improve the operation mode of the service area in combination with the actual needs of economic development.At present,the expressway service area in the area which rich in tourism resources still only provides the services of vehicle guarantee and simple stay and rest of personnel.Moreover,some of the tourist resources in the expressway service areas are not properly developed,resulting in waste of resources.Based on the above two problems,a concept of tourism service area which combines tourism with expressway service area has been put forward in this dissertation.That is,to carry out characteristic design of service areas,expand the tourism functions around the service areas,meet the needs of tourists traveling outside,and improve the service level of the service areas.The characteristics of tourist service areas has been focused on and the differences between tourist service areas and conventional expressway service areas has been pointed out in this dissertation.The integration of service areas and tourism has brought about changes in parking demand in service areas,such as an increase in the difference in parking time span and a significant increase in the proportion of passenger cars.Therefore,on the basis of the existing parking scale calculation methods,the specific factors affecting parking scale in tourist service areas has been studied in this dissertation,constructs a calculation model of parking spaces in tourist service areas based on queuing theory algorithm,and calculates the optimal number of parking spaces under the demand of parking in tourist service areas.After determining the parking scale of the parking lot,the parking lot is divided into long-term parking spaces and short-term parking spaces based on the parking characteristics of tourist service areas.The fuzzy control theory is used to rationally allocate parking space resources and increase the use efficiency of parking spaces.Yunfeng service area in Guizhou has been selected as a case study in this dissertation.By collecting the basic information of the service area,then analyzing and processing the survey data,the short-term parking lot size of the service area according to the queuing theory model has been calculated in this dissertation,and obtains the optimal parking lot size of the service area.And through the relevant parking lot design requirements,determine the parking scale when serving the district chief.The feasibility of calculating parking lot size is demonstrated.This study provides a direction for the transformation and upgrading of expressway service areas.It is certain guiding significance for the design and construction of parking lots in tourist service areas.It also provides a theoretical foundation for the further development of tourist service areas.
