The Research On The Barrier-free Design Applied In The Household Shopping Trolley For Elderly People

As the world’s largest population,China has long been declared an aging country,and the population of the elderly has been on the rise for many years.Since the arrival of the aging society,China has shown a trend of large population base,rapid growth rate,aging population and empty nest trend,which has brought great pressure to society and brought about many problems.Moreover,with the social progress and economic development in recent years,the old people’s lifestyle is gradually changing,and more and more elderly people are faced with the problem of living alone.The elderly lifestyle changes also brought the widespread attention of the society,a lot of products specifically for the elderly have begun into people’s lives,including many design criteria design industry is also actively exploring the elderly products and elements,in order to solve the elderly as a special group in the daily life of the demand.This article takes the barrier-free design idea as the design direction,has chosen the senior citizen to use in the daily life the higher degree home shopping trolley as the main object of study.Starting from the old people of this special group,analysis of the elderly due to age increased the corresponding physiological and psychological changes,and through the analysis of the elderly,shopping cart and shopping environment,summarizes the design needs of the elderly travel shopping.Through investigating the current situation and application of the barrier free design concept in the field of product design for the elderly,this paper points out the significance of barrier free design for the old family shopping cart.Through investigation and research,various kinds of data and data have compared the advantages,disadvantages and current situation of domestic and international shopping cart,and combined with the analysis of the design concept of obstacle,summed up the design principles and implementation methods of the household shopping cart for the elderly.Finally,through the design practice,the design principles of the foregoing analysis are summarized and verified.
