| An aging population has become a realistic problem in today’s society.Solving the problem of the elderly living life is the key to build a harmonious society.The number of existing house is big enough,but also there are many problems such as it’s difficult to meet the demand of living.If these existing houses can be transformed and reused,it will have a big significance in the aspects of society,economy,culture,ecology and so on.So the author make it as the subject to research.Based on the investigation,the theory and experiences,this paper will discuss these problems on groups with six chapters,and these six chapters can be divided into three parts.The introduction is the first part,the first chapter introduces the research background,research object and the main contents of this paper,clears the research purpose and meaning of the issue,confirms the methods and framework.The second part is formed of the second and third chapter,it includes the theory and experiences related.Firstly,this paper summarizes the characters o f the old people’s psychology and physiology,and make it as the design basis;Secondly,this paper analyzes the related theories such as urban renewal theory,residential adaptability theory,universal design theory and so on.Finally this paper studies the experiences related.The third chapter includes the research re sults which has been summarized.The second part is formed of the fourth,fifth and sixth chapter,it is the exploration of the exiting houses’ transformation for old people.The fourth chapter from the scope of the residential area,includes space layout,road system,supporting facilities,public green space and space.It considers the community’s present situation and the needs of elderly,puts forward the corresponding reform strategy.The fifth chapter focuses on the house types.The sixth chapter focuses on the major spaces of the house.In view of the reasons for the problems in life,the paper gives some suggestions.Based on the above research,the author hopes to provide some feasible ideas for the exiting settlements’ transformation for old people. |
