In traffic congestion,countries to promote energy conservation and emissions reduction in today's society,traffic congestion not only increased the traveler's travel time,improves the travel cost,reduces the economic benefit of social work,transportation energy consumption and large amounts of emissions in brought inconvenience to the surrounding living environment influence also itself brings great pressure to the development of traffic.In the face of these practical problems,the significance of public transportation priority is very prominent,which becomes an important method to effectively alleviate and improve these problems.In this paper,a large number of studies have been carried out to study the signal timing of bus priority at home and abroad,so as to further study the design of the bus priority signal with the minimum passenger delay.Bus signal priority when based on a single intersection method should be the main content of the research,summarizes the intersection bus priority in a time when the passive and active preference and real-time signal priority control of three methods,and the wider adaptability of active priority strategy has carried on the further research.Through the analysis and summary of bus vehicle detection technology and bus passenger flow collecting technology,it provides technical support for the acquisition of traffic basic data in the intersection.And making use of the data analysis in extension and green light and two bus priority control strategies under the passenger's travel delay,after the implementation of bus priority is established to calculate the intersection traffic delay increases the decrement of the mathematical functions.This function model is also the basis for evaluating the overall transportation benefit of intersections.In this paper,the process of bus priority control in single phase and multi-phase is summarized.In this paper,we propose a model to find the optimal cycle of intersection with the minimum passenger delay,and obtain the green time of each phase of the intersection with the ratio of passenger flow ratio to green letter ratio.Finally,through an instance analysis the intersection signal timing design based on the minimum passenger delays and the timing signal intersection based on the minimum cars were delayed design of imported vehicles saturation,delay and delay data such as per capita.By analyzing the data,it can be seen that the design of signal timing with the minimum per capita delay is a signal timing method to take care of bus priority.
