For engines,stringent fuel-economy regulations and emissions regulations require advanced powertrain technology,as well as a challenge to automobile engine oil.For engine oil,high-performance engines requires high-performance engine oil.Under the premise of satisfying performance,engine oil is faced with a trend of multi-level and low viscosity.This paper introduces the development status and development trend of engine oil at home and abroad,analyzes the friction and wear characteristics and lubricating status of main friction pairs of automobiles,and the performance requirements of gasoline engines on lubricating oil.Based on the guidance of lubrication theory and the large amount of data,the base oil,viscosity index improver,depressant and compound function additives were selected reasonably.And through the each component orthogonal experiment design,and with foreign and market level of the same grade of oil products physical and chemical indicators analysis,performance is excellent.However,it was found by friction and wear testing machine that the anti-wear performance of oil products was not good enough to form a strong enough lubricating oil film.The low temperature performance of SN 0W/20 engine oil is excellent,but in order to ensure the oil film strength,proper friction modifier is selected to reduce the friction loss of engine components and improve fuel economy.Through the test design of lubricating oil abrasion testing machine and four-ball machine,the selection of friction modifier and the determination of optimal dosage were completed.Therefore,the optimal formulation of SN 0W/20 gasoline engine oil was drawn up,and its dynamic performance,fuel economy and anti-wear performance were obtained through bench test and analysis.In order to explore the anti-wear anti-friction mechaniSN of gasoline engine oil,according to the best formula and to formulate the SN grade gasoline engine oil blending,I select shell SN 0W/20 gasoline engine oil as reference oil and bench test respectively for 100 hours.Through the engine cylinder liner scanning electron microscopy(sem)analysis,and by inductively coupled plaSNa emission spectrometer(ICP),I finish the sampling of surface energy spectrum analysis,contrast test before and after the element type and content of change to explore the mechaniSN of gasoline engine oil anti-wear anti-friction.In order to detect the deployment of the quality of the product better,I have a road test for ten thousand kilometers,and deployment of oil through the test data from oil specific test index of train and the specific oil quality judgment.The results show that the oil product is of excellent quality and the purpose of this paper is completed.
