Electric Multiple Unit(EMU)plays an increasingly important role in people's trip,many passengers choose it because of its high-speed and comfort.The operation of EMU cannot be separated from the related equipment.The working status of the equipment determines the safe operation of EMU.When EMU is running at high speed,the traction converters,traction transformers and the other devices under it can generate heat,the unusual rise of temperature may cause some failures,and will have hidden trouble on EMU operation.So it is necessary to have a real-time monitoring of the temperature to these components.But it is unrealistic to only rely on people,besides the efficiency is low.Therefore,we can develop a temperature monitoring system,to collect the temperature through the sensors,transforming and dealing with the signal to achieve real-time detection.The electromagnetic environment of EMU is very complex,the cabin under EMU exists strong electromagnetic interference,conventional electrical measurement sensor is easy to be affected,light is used as the sensor signal for FBG sensor,it has the advantages of anti-electromagnetic interference,easy to implement distributed measurement,high sensitivity and so on.This paper designs a equipment temperature monitoring system under EMU based on Fiber Bragg Grating(FBG)sensors.Using FBG sensors to constitute a sensor network,laying on the surface of the EMU equipment,through the demodulator to achieve fluctuation information of the temperature,to use the industrial personal computer control demodulator and data storage,to spread the real-time data collected to internet by the system built-in 3G communication module,and through remote control software to realize equipment control,remote data monitoring and download it.Using Lab VIEW software to design data processing system for statistics and processing for the raw temperature data,finding the most values,the time it occurs of equipment under EMU and ambient temperature.Through long-term tracking,temperature variation law of the equipment is found.This designed FBG temperature monitoring system is capable of having a real-time monitoring under EMU,and can have statistics and processing for temperature data collected,to ensure that if the abnormal temperature appears,it can detect in avoid of damage to equipment due to excess temperature.
