In the 21 st century,China's economic is rocketing as well as percapita GDP.The improvement of living standards has also led to pursuing of a higher quality of life.The current quality and quantity of food,clothing,shelter and means of traveling are far from meeting requirements.People have paid more and more attention to food quality and safety.Food production,processing,transportation,and food storage have become a very important part of food quality and safety.In recent years,various facilities and equipment used to ensure food quality and safety have also been built throughout the country.Cold storage is the most important part of the entire food circulation and storage,which guarantees the quality and safety of food.Whether the cold storage can be operated reasonably,and whether there is a reasonable air flow conditions directly affects the quality of the food.In this paper,experimental tests and numerical simulations were carried out in a cold storage.The situation of cold storage air distribution was analyzed,and the form of airflow was improved.And then experimental tests and numerical simulations of the new airflow organization were conducted.The results showed that the new airflow organization scheme met the requirements.The main work of this article is as follows:(1)Fluent software was used to simulate the airflow of the cold storage.According to the temperature distribution of the typical cross-section inside the cold storage area,the distribution of the velocity field and the temperature change of the cargo,the problem of cold storage in the airflow organization was found:The main problem is that the temperature distribution of the cargo is not uniform,the temperature is difficult to meet the requirements for storage of the cargo,and the corners and vortices of the airflow fieldThe temperature field and velocity field inside the cold storage were measured,and the results of numerical simulation were combined to further verify the existing problems and deficiencies of the cold storage in the airflow organization.(2)Provide a reasonable improvement plan for the problems and deficiencies in the air distribution of the cold storage:Increasing the number of fabric ducts,adjusting the fan layout,and improving the air distribution within the cold storage;(3)Fluent software was used to simulate air distribution of the new plan in the cold storage room.It was found that the previous problems and deficiencies were optimized and improved,and the same experimental test method was used to analyze the temperature field and the velocity field inside the cold storage.And the velocity field,cargo temperature and airflow field were more uniform than before,verifying the rationality and correctness of the optimized improvement scheme.(4)The energy consumption of the old and new scheme were compared.After comparing the energy consumption calculation of the cold storage and the actual energy consumption,the rationality and correctness of the optimized improvement plan were further verified.
