With the development of society,the human spiritual and material civilization are sublimated to a high level.The demand of illumination for humans is no longer just to realize the single function of visual lighting for people to see,but to achieve a green illumination with diversity of characteristics such as art,culture,humanities,history,geography,ethics,decoration,landscape and horticulture.Modern illumination should not only satisfy the requirements of functionality,but also to meet the needs of safety?energy saving,and people-oriented.High quality lighting must come from an elaborate electric lighting design to create a satisfactory of visual environment,and high quality maintenance is required to maintain a long-term functioning.As the main part of garden nightscape,design of electric illumination is very important to landscape.This paper studies the electrical design of the Dezhou Zoo and Botanical Garden,The following aspects were studied in depth:Design of lighting systems.The design should firstly meet the requirements of environmental protection and energy saving,at the same time guarantee the quality of lighting.The design should also base on the required effect and conform to the specification.In-depth study and analysis on how to calculate outdoor illuminance are performed in this paper.Meanwhile,with examples of different landscapes in the garden,the paper also expounds how to choose the light source type and lighting mode according to the actual demand of different landscape.Design of wires and cables.This paper studies various types of wires and cables,of which the performance,laying environment,pattern of laying,selection of the cross-sectional area and the application in the actual project were analyzed.The paper focused on how to choose cable correctly and reasonably with a proper size of cross section and cable laying mode to ensure electrical safety.Design of electrical safety.In this paper,in accordance with the terrain,locality,meteorology and importance of location of the park,the lightning protection level is classified,effective lightning protection measures and grounding system were adaptedaccording to local conditions.At the same time,this paper discusses the selection of circuit breakers to ensure the safety of electric power.This paper introduces various problems involved in design,construction and safety maintainance of the electrical system of Dezhou Zoo and Botanical Garden.It also summarizes the experience and lessons to avoid missing details in the design,so that the engineering design can be both reasonable,safe and reliable,economical and practical,and advanced in technology,while guaranteeing the landscape suitability and bringing people a good experience.
