Research On The Green Interior Design

Ever since the industrial revolution,with the continuous improvement of technology,human's power and tools on reforming the nature has enhanced and became more and more diversified.Nevertheless,technology is developing,population in the world is increasing,resource on our planet is decreasing more quickly,environmental disruption is becoming more and more serious.The consuming of energy and resource will cause trouble just as the shortage of energy,lack of water,accumulation of junk,change of climate,atmospheric pollution,rising incidence of allergy and cancer,reduction of biodiversity.Now days people pay much more attention to those matter.It is human caused these problems,so it must be solved by human.Construction industry brings immense resource consumption and environmental pollution.So china is paying more and more attention to the construction industry's protection on our environment.In the case of construction industry,the way to solve problem is to take the green building into practice.Interior design is a part of architecture.It is possible for the designer to exert a positive affection on our environment through his design.Interior designer often concentrate on issues such as comfort,beauty,style,reasonable price,etc.,but modern times the green building is getting more and more important,so the designer's design philosophy must change.Interior designer often works with his project so that he must be familiar with the material,lighting,hvac equipment,electrical equipment,water supply equipment.So the designer could make a space that is friendly to our environment by using the greening design philosophy.The chapter one of this thesis introduced the background of the green interior design and its research significance,research method.Chapter two discussed the interior air quality and how to choose material,analyzed the relationship between the indoor air quality and materials,discussed the harm to environment by material and how to choose material which is most friendly to our environment and body.Chapter three analyzed the comfort of light environment and light energy saving.Chapter four analyzed the comfort of thermal environment and energy saving of the thermal environment while keeping its comfort.Chapter five discussed the comfort of the sound environment.Chapter six analyzed the water saving.Chapter seven discussed the green philosophy of interior design,analyzed which question should the designer focus on while designing a project,discussed what kind of philosophy could lead designer to make a most green interior design.This thesis analyzed all aspects of the interior design that could affect the comfort and healthy of a person and environment protection by the design angle.Green interior space could not only provide a comfortable,harmless space which is friendly to the earth,but also lead us to change the life style as well.Interior designer should have the ability and responsibility to make contribution to our earth by his work.
