| With the rapid development of China auto industry in recent years,the logistic operation is becoming more and more important to the company in auto parts industry.In recent years,there are some studies and researches on the logistic operation of auto parts industry,such Vendor Manage Inventory(VMI),Just-In-Time(JIT),Kanban management(KANBAN),Vendor Direct shipping(Direct Shipping),these theories have been successfully applied to logistic operation.Within the modern logistic system,warehouse setup and management is a very important aspect.It is a key factor to the company especially which is handling auto parts business to find a way to setup a warehouse with high efficiency and low cost.This article is mainly focused on how to setup and mange a suitable warehouse for auto parts business.Firstly,introduce the main theory in warehouse operation.Secondly,study the latest industry status and specialty of auto parts industry to analyze the common problem of the warehouse which is handling auto parts business currently in China.Finally to define some step from aspect of location,layout,work process standardization to setup a warehouse with high efficiency.It is hoped to provide some practice experience which can be referenced during warehouse setup and management to the company which is handling auto part warehouse business. |
