Since entering the new century,the air transportation industry in China has been developed rapidly,but the contradiction between the civil aviation transportation demand and the operating capacity is becoming more and more prominent.The issues of flight safety and flight delay are widely concerned by the news media and the general public.It has also become a difficult problem to restrict the healthy development of civil aviation industry in China.The only viable way to deal with this kind of problem thoroughly is to use it.The new technology must have good performance such as controllability,stability,reliability and easy maintenance.At present,airports in China have successively used FREQUENTIS VCS 3020 X,a civil aviation internal telephone system from Austria.Based on this,combined with the Inner Mongolia Aviation Management Project,the installation,commissioning and operation of FREQUENTIS VCS 3020 X civil aviation internal telephone system,this paper discusses the operating principle,work performance and technology used in the internal telephone system in detail.In order to improve the subject's referential,the experience gained during installation will be summarized at the end of the paper.VCS(Voice Communication System)is mainly used to complete G/A(ground/air)and G/G(ground/ground)communications tasks.It is a digital voice communication system.It uses A/D conversion technology,voice communication technology and software engineering technology.FREQUENTIS is the most advanced technology creation based on digital technology.In order to avoid the impact of single fault point on the whole system operation,the audio bus and control bus are completely redundant designs.The unit responsible for monitoring in the system can detect and report the fault point in real time.The design of the core processing unit of the internal telephone system is also physically separated and completely redundant.Each seat is directly connected to the system,and there are also wireless interfaces in the main and alternate systems to achieve redundant assembly.No matter which problem occurs in the main and backup systems,even the downtime maintenance will not affect the controller's normal control work.Wireless interface redundancy can automatically switch,and the failure of an interface will not have any effect on the frequency communication.
