The Design Method Research On Urban Traffic Management Facilities Based On Minimum Redundancy

In recent years,The State Ministry of Public Security attaches great importance to regulation,Optimizing and maintaining the Construction of Urban Traffic Management facilities.But at present,the intensity and science of the design and research of urban traffic management facilities is not proportional to the speed of construction which result in existing national standards that do not conform the local road traffic characteristics,some of traffic management facilities can not only not improve the traffic conditions,but also easily affect the drivers' perception of the quality of the traffic facilities.That result in redundancy of traffic management facilities.Based on the root of the above problems,this paper studies the design method of traffic management facilities which can optimize the redundancy of facilities.The traffic management facilities studied in this paper are traffic signs,traffic markings and traffic signal lights.In this paper,the theory of minimum redundancy design method is proposed,the design idea of this theory and method makes use of the design elements to associate the traffic management facilities with the traffic characteristics of the area where the scheme design object is located,and then takes the design elements as the connecting points.Match traffic management facilities according to traffic characteristics so as to control or avoid redundancy of traffic management facilities.The experiment of overload threshold of facility information is carried out in this paper.It is concluded that the driver can have a better recognition environment and effect without more than 6 items of facility information.According to the design idea of minimum redundancy,the correlation among traffic characteristics,design elements and traffic management facilities is combed.Through the design elements,traffic characteristics are associated with traffic management facilities.And design a traffic management facility with strong correlation with the scheme area for the scheme matching.The design method of minimum redundancy of traffic management facilities studied in this paper solve the redundancy of traffic management facilities from the source.This method ensures that each unit's traffic management facilities can improve the traffic condition without affecting the driver's visibility.It also ensures that the facilities can fully play their own value and avoid the rising construction and operation costs caused by the improper design of traffic facilities.
