Research On The Method Of Building Height Control Based On The Idea Of Spatial Integration Design In Urban Design

Building height is an important factor in regulatory plan and urban design.It is usually to apply in controlling urban morphology and construction capacity in order to protect urban spatial features and environment quality,constructing the urban characteristics.With the accelerating steps of urbanization,the low-rise building can not satisfy the demand of the land;the continuous growth of the building affects the view of the corridor of the urban space landscape,and also destructs the inner space of the city.In the research of urban building height control planning,this paper elaborates the current research status of the building height control at home and abroad.Some theoretical methods of high control are summarized and also the cities that have already carried out building height control in China are investigated and researched such as Nanjing,Hangzhou,Guangzhou and other places.We had to carry out the analysis and research by mastering the first-hand information for learning their successful control method.We had to integrate the urban space elements;it is mainly divided into natural elements,historical environment elements,modern material space elements,and then the study of the height control method of landscape environment,historical and humanistic environment,urban landmark building,urban landscape gallery and the special section.Based on the summarization of the building height control methods,this paper combines theory with practice to propose a visual area control method which is suitable for the natural and culture landscape city.It also divides height zone by selecting important landscape point of view,the sight line and the sight zone,also applying depth-width ratio on waterfront buildings height control.Finally,taking the Jishan area on the west bank of Dianchi Lake in Xishan District of Kunming City as an example,the paper analyzes the height control plan of the plot buildings on the practical level and control the building height of the plot by the urban design in order to take a feasibility study of the building height control in a theoretical perspective.
