Construction Of Microspace Physical Environment In The Renewal Of Old City

With the quality of life continually improved,outdoor public space has become an important place for residents' activities.The microspace in the old city is a good space for daily communication.The comfortable environment will attract more people outdoors,enhance the vitality of the space and improve the quality of life.However,the physical environment of the microspace in the old city renewal is rather bad.It is very necessary and urgent for us to research in this aspect and make strategic construction.Taking Hankou Concession District as an example,this paper launch research on the construction of physical environment in the microspace.The core of the protection of old city is to preserve the living environment and the way of life.From the perspective of the type of behavioral activity in the microspace,the research object is determined through the survey of space type and vitality in the Hankou Concession District.Then,the behavior activities are recorded and classified,so as to carry out the research based on different types of activities.Through environment measurement and questionnaire interview,the physical environment parameters and the physical environment comfort are studied in Hankou Concession District.Firstly,the parameters and measurement indexes of thermal environment,light environment and sound environment are analyzed based on the different activity types of microspace.Then,we determine the critical value of physical environment comfort index combined with the questionnaire results.Finally,the entropy weight method is used to calculate the weight of the parameters of the physical environment and determine the main influence parameters in the microspace.Based on the analysis results of physical environment parameters,this paper constructs microspace physical environment from three aspects: thermal environment,light environment and sound environment.The influence of wind speed,illumination,lighting and noise in the microspace is analyzed by using the CFD,Radiance and Thsware simulation software from the some angles of the height to width ratio,the open space and the ventilation channel.According to the needs of different types of activities,a feasible strategy is put forward.Taking the Shanghai village,Fuzhong li and San Yang communities in the Hankou Concession District as an example,the construction strategys are adapted based on the the different physical environment needs of the types of space in the old city renewal.The comfort of physical environment is significantly improved and the effect is verified by CFD,Radiance and Thsware simulation software.
