Tire roller has been widely used in recent years because of its excellent performance.Due to the characteristics of the tire roller itself,there is a blind area of vision when the driver observes the surrounding environment.Usually,the working environment of the tire roller is poor,which affects the driver-undefineds prediction of the surrounding environment.Even for projects with shorter construction cycles,drivers are required to work for long periods of time,resulting in fatigue driving.In order to avoid roller compaction and collision with large objects,such as paver,the tire roller can guarantee the safety of construction workers and drivers,and improve the efficiency of construction work.In this paper,the safety early warning system and anti-collision barrier of tire roller are studied.Based on the analysis of engine structure and roller braking system,a safety early warning system combining reverse radar control and collision barrier control is determined.The reverse radar adopts PIC16F883 A single chip computer as the control core,through the ultrasonic probe mounted on the front and back frame of the tire roller,the real-time distance measurement of the front and rear obstacles of the tire roller is realized.When the probe detects a distance of less than 1.5 m,the system controls the buzzer to issue a voice prompt.After measuring the distance less than 1.5 m for 3 times in a row,the power supply of the whole vehicle is cut off.The limit switch is used in the control of the anti-collision barrier.When the person encounters the anti-collision fence,the displacement of the anti-collision fence leads to the disconnection of the limit switch contact,thus cutting off the power supply to the whole vehicle.The two methods can effectively improve the reliability of braking,realize engine shut down and automatic emergency braking.The structure of anti-collision barrier is designed by SolidWorks software,and the force model of human and crash-barrier is established.The statics analysis of crash-barrier is carried out by ANSYS finite element software.The results show that the design of the crash-barrier structure meets the strength requirement and can effectively protect the pavement constructors.The modal analysis of the crash-barrier is carried out by ANSYS finite element software,and the working frequency of the roller is obtained according to the formula.The results show that there is no resonance between the crash-barrier and the engine.The low speed collision model between the collision barrier and the rigid body is established,and the collision analysis is carried out by ANSYS/LS-DYNA software.The results show that when the v=8km/h collides with the rigid body,the whole structure deformation is more uniform,and it can absorb 50% impact energy,so it can better protect the driver in the vehicle.
