As one of the main public transport carriers in China,the highway bus is very important to the safety of its structure and the protection of passengers.The particularity of the highway bus determines that if a large Side impact accident occurs,a large number of death and injury accidents will be caused.Through the research,it is found that the current research on the side impact of the bus is mostly focused on the safety of the battery box of the electric bus and the safety of the bus body frame,but the occupant injury is less.Based on this,the paper mainly refers to the side impact test method of passenger car GB20071,combining the characteristics of the side impact of the bus,design the mobile barrier car suitable for the side impact of the bus,to calculate and simulate the side impact of the 12 meter highway bus.First,the CAE model of the bus and the mobile barrier car is set up.According to the actual situation,four kinds of mobile barrier cars which 0.95 T,2T with low energy absorption block,5T and 10 T with high energy absorption block are designed.The side impact simulation experiment of 50km/h is carried out on the bus.The total energy,the total energy absorption energy and the body change of the different mobile barrier cars are focused on.Shape,seat and B column speed and acceleration,luggage compartment and occupant area living space indicators.After the damage of the bus is obtained,the structure model of the sub system of the bus is introduced into the MADYMO software,the model of the dummy is introduced,and the corresponding model of the restraint system is set up to make up the occupant injury analysis system.PSM method is used to import the moving cloud chart of the bus subsystem.In the end,the orthogonal test method is used to design the orthogonal test of the three factors of the speed of the mobile barrier car,the state of the energy absorption block and the mass of the barrier car,and the design of a mobile barrier car for the side impact of the bus is designed.The results show that the main deformation area of the bus is concentrated in the line area of the trunk when the 0.95 T and 2T mobile barrier side impact is carried out on the side of the bus,but the occupants' living space is not very intruding.While on the side impact of the 5T mobile barrier car and the 10 T mobile barrier,the passenger floor skeleton of the bumped side of the bus also has a larger transverse bending deformation.The occupant'sliving space is seriously affected,and the side frame of the bus is intruded to the inside,which has a tendency of upward bending,which is easy to cause crush damage to passengers.When running the 5T mobile barrier and the side impact of the 10 T mobile barrier car in MADYMO,the abdominal force and the pelvic strength of the seat belt dummy are beyond the standard,while the volume of the chest compression and the synthetic acceleration of the head conforms to the requirements.After the fasten belt,the peak acceleration of the dummy head becomes larger,but it still conforms to the requirement,the reduction of the chest compression is obvious,the pelvic strength and the abdominal force are not obvious.It shows that the two point safety is helpful to reduce the volume of the chest compression of the crew,and the improvement of the pelvic strength and abdominal force of the crew has a slight effect.Advantage is not obvious,but it will prevent passengers from secondary damage.In the end,orthogonal test is used to calculate the impact of the occupant damage on the collision vehicle with different parameters,and the results show that the false damage is more sensitive to the initial velocity of the moving barrier car.Finally,the high energy absorption block with a height of 1570 mm,the mass of the 5T Mobile barrier car and the initial speed of the 50km/h are determined.Recommended values of moving barrier vehicle parameters for side impact of bus.
