The Artistic Interpretation Of The Cultural Orientation Of Public Space

Rapid development of society and rising globalization of culture have resulted in culture convergence phenomenon unavoidably.Therefore,a lot of cultures tend to show almost entirely the same characteristic gradually,leading to static states and thus hindering the development of culture diversity since only the exchanges from diversified cultures can promote the mutual cultural development.Aiming to help with the culture diversity in general,it is important for us to develop and expand the crucial influences of regional cultures which used to have their own unique charms and now are facing the crisis of convergence as well due to the phenomenon mentioned above.Nowadays,we need to focus more on carrying forward regional cultures in order to resist the culture convergenceand lead cultures from simplification to diversity.Hopefully,the design in this dissertation embodies the regional culture and shows its attractions at the same time.Mongolian culture has been chosen as the representative of Inner Mongolia regional culture to study the methods of art gallery design in Mongolian culture.This dissertation takes the Art Gallery of Inner Mongolia College as an example,studies the cultural orientation of art museum design,and explains the theme of it.The dissertation consists of two parts,the first part is introduction,which shows the research background and value,the innovation points and difficulties,the domestic research status,basic thoughts and methods of the research.After analyzing the concept,spatial elements and development trend,this dissertation has summarized the authorial key points in art gallery design.According to the research on the cultural orientation as well as the case analysis on the design of Art Gallery,it discuss how to apply spatial distribution,folk patterns and color atmosphere to space design in regional culture.In terms of the rich connotation of Mongolian nationality,the author choose one angle in application to analyze Mongolian culture and its cultural elements tointerpret the psychic connotations,art characteristics and opinion,as well as aesthetics characteristics of Mongolian culture as the theoretical foundation.The second part is the practical project of art museum design which takes the public space design of the Art Gallery of Inner Mongolia College as an example.In conclusion,the application of regional culture in public space design will be a trend of future development.
