Research On The Application Of ERP System In Port Production Management

As an important economic carrier of the country,the development of the port has an important influence on the national economy and the people’s livelihood.With the progress of the modernization of the country,the port has gradually developed from a single loading and unloading mode to the integrated logistics center.In this process,informatization will become the main driving force to push the port forward.Referring to the experience of manufacturing management,ERP is an important measure taken in the process of port operation and management informatization.ERP system will integrate enterprise resources effectively,and achieve the maximization of business interests through reasonable production process arrangement.At present,the ERP system plays a more and more important role in the production and operation of the port.However,the implementation of ERP system first requires the construction of computer hardware,and the subsequent development of software involves a wide range of businesses,which is difficult to develop,and the system maintenance cycle is long.Therefore,the implementation of the whole software system needs a lot of money invested by enterprises.Especially in the port industry,the EPR system started late,and is restricted by the industry characteristics,if not fully evaluation of the ability of the port enterprise itself to implement,is likely to reach the desired effect,causing the waste of manpower and financial resources.This paper combed the development process of ERP,investigated and summarized the application and problems of the ERP system in the enterprise;By analyzing the characteristics of production management of traditional port enterprises,the problems in management are discovered;Deeply studied the management thought of ERP,based on the principle of "theoretical connection with practice",and by using case to find the connection between port management and ERP,according to the principle of balanced scorecard,the performance evaluation index system of ERP is constructed,using analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to evaluate the effect of ERP system on port performance,combined with qualitative analysis,the application effect of ERP system in port production management is obtained.Based on the above research,the paper clarified the application value of ERP in port management.At the same time,it puts forward suggestions and countermeasures for future improvement in light of actual application situations,and provides a reference for port companies that plan to implement or have implemented ERP system.
