In recent years,with the steady growth of economy,the demand for urban transportation has been gradually increasing.In order to increase the supply of transportation,alleviate the traffic congestion and promote the further development of the cities,major cities have implemented a large number of construction projects of transportation facilities,such as the road and the subway construction.A large number of road work zone have seriously affected the normal operation of urban traffic,bringing more pressure to the traffic which already has serious conflicts between traffic supply and demand.The microscopic traffic simulation system named VISSIM is widely used in cities' traffic problems research due to its intuitive and efficient characteristics.However,VISSIM is developed based on the characteristics of foreign traffic.The domestic traffic characteristics are different from those in foreign countries,which are even more special in the road work zone.Therefore,when the default parameters of the system are used to simulate the road work zone,the results will make a big error.In this context,aiming to establish a microscopic traffic simulation model that conforms the traffic characteristics of the road work zone,the traffic simulation of the road work zone is studied.First of all,the concept of road work zone is analyzed,and the features of the road work zone are introduced from the aspects of traffic system composition and traffic flow characteristics.Secondly,the method of micro-simulation of traffic on the road work zone by using the VISSIM is introduced from the aspects of data investigation,establishment of simulation model and model verification.Thirdly,by studying the evaluation index and correction parameter of simulation model,the appropriate evaluation index and the parameters to be corrected are selected.Then,based on the genetic algorithm,the simulation parameter correction system for the road work zone is designed.The console program was written by Python language to realize parameter correction.Finally,taking the two road work zones in Wuhan as examples,the simulation modeling and parameter correction are carried out.Through parameters corrections,the simulation results of the case have been significantly optimized,which indicates the effectiveness of the parameters correction system.
