In recent years,with the rapid development of cities,the construction and maintenance of road infrastructure have increased,municipal facilities need to be improved,many roads must be expanded,and the work zone is widely found in road sections and intersection areas.A large number of road construction has brought adverse effects to urban traffic,and the existence of a work zone will reduce the traffic efficiency of vehicles.The characteristics of roads will also change after setting up the work zone,resulting in severe traffic congestion and a large number of queues and vehicle delays.Therefore,it is more and more important to study the traffic flow model and traffic delay calculation model of the urban road work zone and the impact of road traffic flow and traffic delays.At present,many scholars have studied the assessment of traffic flow and traffic delay in the work zone.However,most of the research in the work zone is concentrated in the expressway work zone,and the delay calculation model and tools are aimed at the expressway abroad.There is little research on traffic delays in the urban road work zone.The road work zone will change the width of the lane and even block some lanes,which will lead to significant changes in the traffic environment and road characteristics,and the driving boundary will be reduced.In addition,there are characteristics of no lane division and irregular driving boundary in the section work zone and intersection work zone,and the existing traffic delay model in the highway work zone is not suitable for urban roads the complex traffic situation in the road work zone,for the urban road work zone,it is difficult to use the existing tools to analyze the traffic delays in the work zone.This paper simulates the traffic flow and traffic delay in the construction section of the urban road section and the intersection work zone,analyzes the characteristics of the entrance traffic delay affected by the work zone,and uses the existing social traffic flow model and the traffic delay in the work zone.Calculate the model to evaluate the impact of traffic delays,and use the actually collected traffic flow data for the simulation platform.On this basis,by changing the value of some parameters,this paper analyzes the influence of this factor on the traffic delay in the section work zone and the intersection work zone.These factors include the proportion of large vehicles,the arrival rate of motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles,the size and location of the work zone,and so on.Analysis of work zone different types of vehicle behaviour in the domain,and study the influence of the above factors on the traffic flow and average speed in the work zone.In the analysis of the actual traffic characteristics,the length of the work zone,the width of the work zone,and the proportion of large vehicles will have a significant impact on the traffic delay and average speed of the work zone.The degree and the proportion of large vehicles will have a significant impact on the traffic delay and average speed of the intersection work zone.
