| Pressure vessel is widely used in the field of chemical industry,petroleum industry,light industrial machinery and in people’s daily life.For external pressure vessel,the external pressure vessel damage is mainly caused by insufficient stability failure.The stability problem is very important for the external pressure vessel.To ensure that it has sufficient stability is the basic prerequisite for the normal operation of the external pressure vessel.In this paper,the thin-walled cylinder is taken as the research object to analyze the lateral instability and local instability caused by the external pressure of the thin-walled cylinder.The study provided a reference for the stability problem for the future.In this paper,the eigenvalue buckling analysis and nonlinear buckling analysis in ANSYS finite element software are used to simulate thin-walled cylinders.The main researches are cylinder size,material properties,initial defects(ellipticity,material inhomogeneity)influence on critical pressure and buckling morphology and discuss the influence of the support structure and the open structure on the critical pressure and the buckling configuration.For different size of thin walled short cylinder by external pressure stability experiment,to explore the relations between measured values and the theoretical value and simulation value.In order to make the container have enough stability,it is usually necessary to design a reinforced structure.This article mainly studies the effect of strengthening the ring/bar on the critical pressure.Analysis of the impact of common reinforcement structures,different reinforcement methods,and layout methods on critical loads,and identify through comparison and analysis what kind of reinforcement methods are used on occasions.By using the orthogonal design method,the tube structure parameters of 16 groups of flat steel reinforcement rings are set and the finite element analysis is performed.The least square method is used to fit the non-dimensionalized model parameters,and the flat steel reinforcement ring is given.The critical pressure fitting formula for the thin-walled cylinder is discussed.Discussed effect of different structural parameters on critical pressure of flat steel reinforcing rings. |
