Research And Application Of 4D Information Model Of Automobile Assembly Line

Automobile assembly line is the last and the most important procedure of automobile manufacturing.As the most consuming procedure of time,money and human resource,the construction of automobile assembly line requires good control and coordination of information.At present,enterprises still use paper based file of automobile assembly line's construction information for communication and management,which cannot realize the uniformity,hinders the inquiry and may cause the loss of the information to such a huge project.Consequently,finding a proper construction management approach is significant to these problems.The 4D information model of automobile assembly line provides an effective way to solve the problems.Thus,the paper researched the schedule node centered 4D information model based on 3D model of automobile assembly line and its application.The major work of the paper are as follows.(1)Researches on 4D information model of automobile assembly line.I proposed the concept of 4D information model of automobile assembly line based on the analysis of its structure and creation process,and then detailed the model's basic structure and main function.(2)Establishment of the automobile assembly line equipment model library based on 4D information model.During the creation process of 4D information model of automobile assembly line,3D information model's creation needs to target the demand of 4D information model.The paper made the module division of the automobile assembly line's model after analyzing the relationship of 3D and 4D information model of it,and then established the automobile assembly line equipment model library in standard model and parametric model format.(3)Researches on intelligent assembly approach of automobile assembly line's model and development of intelligent assembly tool in 3D CAD.In the creation of automobile assembly line's model,the assembly process of models is the most time consuming procedure.To meet the engineers' demand of assembly rapid creation,an intelligent assembly approach based on model's assembly character and intelligent position perception is proposed after the research of automobile assembly line's model assembly character.The approach provided an effective way to the 3D model rapid creation during the creation of 4D information model's creation process.(4)Researches on project schedule management approach based on automobile assembly line's 4D information model.On the basis of the creation method and the data organization and management of automobile assembly line's 4D information model,I obtained the automobile assembly line's construction schedule information through RFID technology to realize 3D model's real-time recreation and schedule management's visualization.Then,the simulation and management of automobile assembly line's project schedule is achieved.(5)Development of automobile assembly line's information model and application tools using system integration and Solid Works secondary development technology on PDM platform.The achievements have been successfully applied in a design and research institute of its automobile assembly line construction project.
