The vertical screw ship unloader,which is a professionalism continuous bulk unloader mechanical,plays a very important role in the modernization bulk terminal as its comprehensive advantages of the environment protection and energy conservation.Now,the research on the vertical screw ship unloader is still at the early stage in our country,and the streamline research on some easily damaged and noise parts is still blank.It's not only reduce the efficient to replace those parts,but also expand much human resource and material resource,and restricts the development of the screw ship unloader seriously.In this paper,the material movement characteristics of discharging process is the object,aimed at the optimization research of the discharging process and reduce the impact wear and noise.The main work and innovations of the research are as follows:1.Applying discrete mechanics,continuum mechanics theory,research the movement characteristics while the material in the vertical screw.Firstly,making hypothesis of the movement of material particles,and put forward the formula between the movement characteristics and the rotation speed of the screw.Research determines the type of the free surface longitudinal section material and discrimination of conveyor.Then get the method of solving the motion parameters of materials.Secondly,put forward the hypothesis of planar and tangent motion,and calculate the formula when the material discharging.2.Solving the motion parameters of materials under the condition of different parameters,based on the Telescopic Vertical Screw Ship Unloader.Calculating the trajectory curve of material discharging based on the Elemental Point Theory.And research the effect of the feeding place,the rotation speed and the filling rate to the trajectory curve.Then draw the envelope curve of various parameters though Matlab software.3.With application of the discrete element theory and EDEM software,the discharging process under various parameters is simulated.Firstly,compare the theoretical results to the simulation results toverify the hypothesis of the theoretical model and the correctness of the theoretical model.Secondly,according to the trajectory curve of various parameters,research the influence of parameter change on the material movement characteristics.Finally,design the discharging turner according to the movement characteristics and extract the simulation results to assess the discharging turner.
