Energy conservation and environmental protection as the most concern intoday’s society, the constraints on the port industry is particularly prominent. Therapid development of the economy prompted port handling equipment must betoward the direction of large-scale, specialization and automation, the traditionaldischarging equipment due to the high energy consumption, environmental pollutionhas already can not adapt to the requirements of The Times, screw ship unloader inthis context are widely used in port.It due to their high productivity and utilizationcoefficient, easy to realize the automation of material transportation, because it isenclosed conveying at the same time, the environmental pollution is small, so thescrew ship unloader is widely used for energy saving and environmental protectionhas important significance.Screw ship unloader advantage is obvious, but its design is also apparentdifficulty. Parametric design method parameter-driven approach to calculate thesize constraint model for product design, can be quick and easy to complete theproduct throughout the design process.In this paper, take the new type L-screw ship unloader for example, introducesin detail the L-screw ship unloader parametric design system.The article expoundsthe research background, purpose and development situation at home and abroad,related to this topic of old and new design method was introduced in detail in theapplication in the design of the screw ship unloader.
