Screw ship unloader has many advantages in bulk cargo transport,such as,strong adaptability,high productivity,low environmental pollution and simple structure.And it has been widely used in modern port with the rapid growth of bulk cargo in the world.Inlet feeder is the main working mechanism of screw ship unloader,and the capability of the inlet feeder has a direct impact on the capacity of the unloader.Relatievely-rotating inlet device is the most widely used reclaiming device of screw ship unloader,but the technology is monopolized by foreign companies.The research on the screw unloader is mainly focused on the vertical and horizontal conveying sections in our country,but less on the inlet feeder.Increasing the productivity and reduce energy consumption is a main direction in the research of screw unloader,so it's necessary to study reclaiming mechanism and material movement.In the article,the reclaiming process of relatievely-rotating inlet device were investigated,and finishing the following innovative results:(1)Establishing the granular mechanics model of material particle movement in inlet feeder based on the theory of granular material.Making an assumption about the movement rule of the particle in the reclaiming wing plate.Then analysing motion and mechanical of micro unit in the wing plate.Furthermore establishing the calculation model of productivity of the inlet feeder.(2)Simulating the reclaiming process of the inlet feeder in EDEM.Analyzing the simulation results and getting the distribution law of particle motion;then determining the simulation boundary of the inlet feeder;furthermore analyzing the variation tendency of productivity,filling rate and resistance moment of the feeder with the change of speed.(3)There are several factor that affecting the productivity and power of the inlet feeder,such as,the inlet size of reclaiming wing plate,the feeding height,speed of feeder,curvature radius of reclaiming wing plate and speed of vertical screw.By means of orthogonal test and discrete element method,determining the primary and secondary order of each parameter and variation tendency on productivity and power;furthermore reaching the optimal parameter combination of the inlet feeder.(4)By means of orthogonal test and BP neural network,establishing the prediction model of productivity and power,and verifying its correctness.Then using neural network instead of discrete element simulation,and using the prediction model to optimize the main parameters on the basis of the optimal combination of orthogonal test.Furthermore comparing the reclaiming capacity of optimized scheme with original scheme.
