Study On Planning Of Lingwu Baijitan Desert Park

Under the national strategy for the development of China’s western regions,the economy in the arid desert region of western China has achieved great development.Desert tourism has gradually become a major form of local tourism development.Due to the fragile eco-environment in desert areas,tourism development must be prudently demonstrated and rationally planned,supplemented by strict ecological protection measures and ecological construction planning,while embodying its natural features and cultural characteristics.The establishment of a desert park is one of the main ways to develop desert tourism.However,at present,there is a relative lack of theory and practice in the planning and construction of desert parks in China.This article takes Lingwu Baijitan Desert Park as the research object,and obtains the following results:(1)Based on the analysis of the natural conditions such as ecological environment,landscape resources,and historical and cultural resources in the Baiyuetan Desert Park,and guided by related theories of restoration ecology,landscape ecology,and sustainable development,the article has been published on domestic and foreign articles on desert landscapes.Research,using the method of combining excellent examples with theoretical research,systematically explores the theories and methods of ecologically protected desert landscape planning and design.(2)Through the investigation and classification of the landscape resources in Baijitan Desert Park and the qualitative and quantitative analysis and evaluation,the landscape resources of Baijitan Desert Park are divided into 8 main categories and 17 sub-categories.The qualitative evaluation results of the value of landscape resources show that Baijitan Desert Park has rich landscape resources,good natural landscapes,outstanding scientific research value,high ecological value and development potential,and meets the resource requirements for the construction of desert parks.Through quantitative analysis methods using the analytic hierarchy process,a quantitative assessment model of Baijitan Desert Park landscape resource consisting of 13 evaluation factors under the three levels of natural landscape resources,humanistic landscape resources and tourism conditions was constructed,which passed the criteria and factor layers.The weight analysis confirmed that Baijitan Park takes desert landscape,desert vegetation,and lake wetland landscape as its most important landscape features as the landscape types that are mainly preserved and protected in the planning of Baijiitan Park;The quantitative assessment of landscape resources in Baijitan Desert Park was 79.542 points,which belonged to the four-level landscape resources and reached the level of excellent landscape resources.(3)Based on the analysis of desert park planning theory,the thesis summarizes the methods and content of desert park planning from the aspects of desert park functions,planning principles,functional layout planning,traffic and road system planning,and vegetation allocation planning.Based on this,the Baijitan Desert Park was planned and the Baijitan Desert Park was divided into seven functional areas,namely the comprehensive service reception area,the fruit and fruit tourism picking area,the desert wetland conservation area,the popular science education area,and desert adventure development.Camp area,desert style area,ecological conservation area.Detailed planning was carried out on specific functional contents such as the capacity of different functional areas,project settings,plant landscapes,protection projects,and service facilities.The guiding principles of planning emphasize the full exploration of Lingwu’s local history,culture,folk features,and desert tourism resources,and create a desert park with local characteristics and integrating ecological protection,cultural experience,sightseeing and entertainment,popular science education,and subsidiary production.The Baijitan Desert Park in this plan can not only provide tourism services for residents in the surrounding areas,but also be a city landscape showing Lingwu region characteristics.In the geographical space,Baijitan Desert Park and Shuidonggou Tourism Area,Lingwu Gaomiao Temple,Red Sand Castle and other tourist areas in the Ming Dynasty formed complementary resources and could jointly promote the development of tourism in Lingwu City.The development of desert parks must insist on giving priority to ecological protection,enhance the diversity of desert ecosystems,eliminate desert tourism and prevent desert ecosystem degradation.This plan draws on the advanced sand control theories at home and abroad,and conforms to the popular demand of desert tourism and the protection goals of the ecological environment.It has certain practical significance.
