With the rise of modern logistics industry,belt conveyor has an irreplaceable position in the transportation industry,with the increasing demand and efficiency of transportation,long-distance,large-capacity,high-velocity,and other types of conveyors in ports,mines,etc.It have become increasingly popular,Taking into account factors such as the environment and energy consumption,new issues are constantly emerging.China is a big energy country and a big energy consumer,non-renewable resources use a little less.On the one hand,we must look for new energy to replace traditional energy sources.On the other hand,we must also find breakthroughs to reduce the loss of energy and ensure that energy is fully utilized.In order to overcome major resistance,the conveyor consumes a lot of energy during operation,the research on how to reduce the main resistance is the focus we have been paying attention to.The main resistance consists of four parts.As the type and demand of conveyors change,the proportion of each resistance in the four parts is constantly changing.The new problem is that the bending resistance of the conveyor belt and the squeezing resistance of the material account for an increasing proportion of the main resistance,which cannot be ignored.Therefore,it is very necessary to carry out the sensitivity analysis of the factors that affect the bending resistance of the conveyor belt and the material’s squeezing resistance,and find out the rules that provide the theoretical basis for reducing the resistance.This topic is based on the predecessors,taking into account the dynamic effect of the conveyor belt in the transport of materials.Through model establishment,mechanism derivation and solution method,finally,the MATLAB software is used to quickly solve the program and analyze the sensitivity of the data on the bending resistance of the conveyor belt and the factors affecting the extrusion resistance of the material.First,on the basis of large deflection,the micro-cell model was establishedfor the conveyor belt using orthotropic plate mechanics.According to the force analysis of the conveyor belt,bending moment,internal force,stress and strain,geometric equation,physical equation,etc.,the differential equation and compatibility equation of the deflection are obtained.The discretization of differential equations into a set of algebraic equations using a finite-difference13-point difference method combined with a transfer to model.For the mesh of the conveyor belt,establish the differential equation of each node,and rewrite the differential equation to the matrix form of DW=B.Then use MATLAB to construct and iteratively solve large matrices based on specified boundary conditions to obtain each node deflection value.Through the theoretical formulae related to the deflection W and the bending resistance of the conveyor belt and the extrusion resistance of the material.Using MATLAB programming to obtain the bending resistance of the conveyor belt and the extrusion resistance of the material,finally,the change law of the factors such as changing the idler spacing,roller groove angle,the weight per unit length,the bulk density of the material,and the different elastic modulus of the different types of conveyor belts is studied.
