Research On The Application Of Environmental Design Crime Prevention In The Design Of Environmental Facilities In Industrial Parks

With the rapid advance of the progress of cities,it's common for a city to set up an industrial park.Because of the characteristics of the region nature,an industrial park is always relatively remote and fast-paced,but it has very few residential facilities,which is prone to be sparsely populated at night,easily forming crime space.Therefore,it's a great concern to improve the public security of industrial parks.At present,there are many applications for community prevention in the field of design crime prevention,and few applications in industrial parks.With the purpose of researching into crime prevention in office space in industrial parks and on the basis of the theory of crime prevention through environmental design,this essay deeply analyses the relationship between the emerge of criminality in industrial parks and space environment and crime prevention strategies,obtaining safety evaluation system in industrial parks.Starting with Rational Choice of Crime Prevention strategies and based on CPTED theory and Broken Windows Prevention strategies,the essay puts forward crime prevention strategies in office space in industrial parks.Besides,on this basis,it comes up with the design framework of crime prevention on industrial parks & office space based on RCB strategy.In the end,taking an enterprise in Xianyang Emerging Textile Industrial Park for instance,through the investigation of various types of crime,the essay sums up the main characteristics of all kinds of crime that occurred in this industrial park and evaluates them by using the safety evaluation system put forward in the essay.According to the problems found in the enterprise,relying on the design framework offacilities for crime prevention,the entrance,exit,lighting and so on in the enterprise have been reconstructed.They now possess the function of preventing crime,verifying the research result.The theory and strategy of crime prevention through environmental design are used to design public facilities in industrial parks.An innovation design of CPTED is also proposed,thus providing new methods of public security and crime prevention in industrial parks.
