With the deepening of the urbanization process in China,the pace of subway construction in large and medium-sized cities is also accelerating.In the subway construction stage,there are many difficulties such as great difficulty in construction,complex construction environment,uncertainties in construction process,and low level of information application.The traditional project management methods and ideas is hard to meet the requirements of present subway construction and management and may even hinder the completion of projects as expected.The emergence of BIM technology has provided new ideas and methods for the schedule management of subway projects.This paper focuses on the progress management of subway civil construction.It has analyzed and summarized the negative factors affecting the schedule management of subway construction and the defects of traditional management methods in this aspect.With consideration to the features and functions of BIM technology,it is believed that BIM technology can better improve and make up for the above-mentioned deficiencies.And the drawing of 3D models is the basis for applying BIM technology to schedule management.In this paper,it uses the rapid modeling method with the aid of Revit and Dynamo plug-in to set up the model of subway tunnels.Through the literature review and the practical application of BIM,it is believed that the engineering breakdown structure(EBS)can provide the basis for the classification and arrangement of BIM components.At the same time,the ESB can be used for work breakdown structure(WBS)and checking the integrity of WBS.In addition,this paper also sorts out the process and key methods for the application of BIM technology to subway construction schedule management.It establishes a schedule adjustment and optimization model for the frequent changes in the project and solves the specific project cases.Besides,it takes one subway project as the example to study the application of BIM technology to the schedule management of subway construction,including the establishment of 4D model of the schedule,optimization of the layout of the site and the division of the construction section basing on the visualization of BIM.The research results of this paper can provide reference for subway construction companies to apply BIM technology for subway project management and construction.
