Single storey industrial workshop is one of the main forms of industrial buildings,which is widely used in metallurgy,machinery manufacturing,chemical industry and textile industry.The bent structure in industrial plants is widely used in single storey industrial buildings because of its rational force,flexible layout,easy fabrication and installation.The design is mainly based on parameter calculation,and it is tried out in PKPM.However,this method still exists the problem of information fault in architectural design,the coordination of design and construction is poor,and the whole life cycle management of the arrangement can not be achieved.In recent years,with the rapid development of computer digital technology,architectural information model(BIM)technology has been widely used in China,maximizing the realization of engineering control,refinement,coordination.As a widely used three-dimensional BIM modeling software,Revit has become a hot topic in the construction industry because of its parametric design concept and two powerful development interfaces.From the available literatures,the main work is the interface between the Revit model and other analysis software,and the research on the transformation of the architecture model of Revit itself into the structure model is not enough yet.And this part is the key to realize the integration of design information.On the basis of the previous studies,this paper puts forward the BIM platform based on the API(Application Programming Interface)provided by Revit and uses the method of parametric modeling to study the design of single storey industrial plant.The contents of this article are as follows:(1)Based on the BIM platform,using the API provided by Revit,combined with the design and selection of the single storey industrial plant(08G118),the parameterized modeling method is adopted to automate the parameterized modeling of the single storey industrial building in the Revit view.(2)On the basis of the developed model,the building information model is converted into an analytical model through the study of the conversion technology between software,and transformed into a structural model,then mechanical calculation is carried out in the ANSYS.(3)Through the interface,the calculation results in ANSYS are fed back to the Revit software.Then the 3D model in Revit can be modified according to the feedback results.It is verified by an engineering example that the modeling and preliminary design of single storey industrial building can be realized by the modeling plug-in developed in this paper.This study provides a new method for the application of BIM technology in the design of single storey industrial buildings.It is a modeling method different from the traditional way,which makes the designer have more space to modify the scheme.
