Relative slip occur in the armature and the guide rail during electromagnetic emission, therefore frictional wear between the armature and the guide rail are unavoidable.Frictional wear between the armature and the guide rail causes contact pressure changes due to material loss on contact surface, which will cause the happening of the transition.Through the simulation of frictional wear between the armature and the guide rail, transition phenomenon can be avoided effectively, therefore, what we study is of great significance. In this paper, the contact characteristics and wear of the armature-rail are studied by simulation. The main work is as follows:Firstly, the geometrical size of C-type armature is optimized and analyzed, and the influence of the wear on the contact state was obtained by analyzing and comparing the contact state of the armature rail. The influence of different parameters on the wear and contact state of the armature rail is analyzed to determine the main factors that affect wear.Secondly, based on the Archard model, the theoretical derivation of the armatureguide wear depth calculation model is carried out.Based on the simulation analysis of armature and guide wear, the wear of the armature-guide is mainly concentrated in the armature, and the wear of single emission in the guide rail is negligible. Then, the effect of armature acceleration on armature wear is analyzed, and the effect of armature acceleration on the maximum wear of armature is small. Finally, electromagnetic field simulation of armature-guide rail is carried out to obtain the electromagnetic force of armature,so as to determine the motion law of armature, and to make the armature motion law as practical as possible. Then the simulation results of armature-guide structure field are analyzed, and the surface abrasion of armature surface and armature surface topography are obtained by fitting.
