With the steady development of our economy,the construction industry was gradually reaching mature stage in recent years.Construction enterprises were faced with not only opportunities and challenges,but also increasing competitive pressures and threats.The fierce competition has caused the construction enterprises to keep their offer down in order to get the construction work,and to increase the demands on the schedule and quality of the work.Combined with the rising material prices and labour costs,the profit of construction enterprises was less and less,which seriously threatened their survival and development.More and more companies discovered that they could develop only by cutting costs.Therefore,the cost control management has become the concern of most construction enterprises.Taking the Yantai ZLSN project as research object,the present situation of cost control was analyzed in this manuscript,the problems existing in the cost control of Yantai ZLSN project were found out,the causes of the problems were analyzed,and the strategies and measures were proposed to address these problems.Qualitative analysis was combined with quantitative analysis in this manuscript.According to the business accounting of target cost budget and actual cost of the ZLSN project,the methods of earning value and construction drawing budget analysis were involved,problems and countermeasures of cost control during the construction process were presented,and key points of cost control in all project implementation aspects were found out.Through optimizing enterprise cost control management system and whole process cost control,specific management practices were proposed for contract management,engineering change management,engineering claims management,fund risk management,quality management and final warranty issues.Effective and reasonable improvement measures were proposed for the ZLSN project.To reduce corporate costs,appropriate measures were regulated for the follow-up project costs and progress,improvement methods and measures proposed in this manuscript were utilized and the methods of earning value were employed to analyze the cost and progress of the project.
