Belt conveyor is an important equipment for transporting bulk materials.It is widely used in many fields,such as coal,mine,port and so on.In recent years,belt conveyors have continued to develop in the direction of large transport,long distances,and high belt speeds,and the problem of starting conveyors has become increasingly prominent.Due to the special viscoelastic property of the conveyor belt,the longer the distance is,the more obvious the viscoelastic property is.The heavy load start and power balance will also play an increasingly important role in the study of the starting characteristics and control of the belt conveyor.In this paper,with coal Tashan Coal Mine Belt Conveyor and CST drive system as the object.First,Briefly introducing the structure and classification of conveyor belt.The dynamic characteristics of belt conveyor are studied.Using AMESim to model the belt conveyor system,the five ideal starting curves were simulated,and the effects of different ideal starting curves on the tension of the conveyor belt were compared and analyzed.The maximum tension point of the belt conveyor and the acceleration of the head and tail drums were compared.The curve changes and it is concluded that the Harrison and S-shaped curves are ideal acceleration starting curves.Then for the S-shaped curve,the effect of different starting time on the conveying tension was analyzed,and 90s was taken as the best starting time.The control unit of the CST electro-hydraulic servo control system is constructed using PID control technology.Through the closed-loop feedback cascade PID control of speed and pressure,the speed regulation during the start-up process of the belt conveyor is realized,and the single-motor CST of the belt conveyor is established.The model of the drive system simulates the dynamic characteristics of the belt conveyor CST drive control system in different operating conditions.The simulation shows that using AMESim software to model can accurately reflect the start-up characteristics of the CST control system under different working conditions.On the model of single motor CST drive system,a dual driving belt conveyor model is built,and the power balance adjustment of dual motor drive belt conveyor is realized through power PID control.The simulation results show that the belt conveyor no-load start double motor drive,the basic balance of head and tail motor output power,output power and load start when the motor head is greater than the tail motor output power;as the load increases gradually during the startup process,dual motor drive power imbalance will become more and more obvious;the order of start delay when power can improve the dual motor system unbalance.With the increase of the start time difference between the head and the tail,the power imbalance in the driving process will undergo a process from a noticeably weaker to a more obvious one.By introducing a power PID controller,it is possible to improve the power balance of the tail-end motor under the dual-motor drive.
