As the equipment for the ship's navigation and the life of the crew,the ship power system plays an important role in the ship.Its security and reliability have always been a topic of great concern.The IMO also puts forward higher requirements for the design and maintenance of the marine main engine system.Company pays more attention to daily maintenance of the equipment maintenance costs under the hard time.Traditional repair methods need to be changed as it will cause over repair or lack of repair occasionally.With the development of new science and the concept of advanced maintenance.Maintenance based on condition plays more and more important role in maintenance methods.Traditional maintenance model has been unable to meet the requirements of ship management.Maintenance based on condition is applied to the management of ship power system.This paper researches the maintenance time based on main engine system's status.According to the consititute of the ship power system,select the main engine as the research object.Assert a outline of ship maintenance based on the research of PMS and CWBT concept.The maintenance cycle coefficient K was introduced as a basis for changing the timing of maintenance,and FMEA and FTA Methods were used to select status indicators of marine engine.Ship data was courted to get the status information of marine engine.According to the information,marine engine state evaluation model was built by using Bayesian networks and expert knowledge,which can judge its status and determine its maintenance time.The paper focuses on the following research(1)According to the content and implementation process of ship maintenance system(CWBT-2009)and of Ship Planned Maintenance System(PMS),ship maintenance Timing Decision Model and implementation process were established based on its state,while the maintenance cycle coefficient K was introduced,as the basis of maintenance timing change.(2)Selection focus of state parameter of marine engine was determined,and state evaluation process of marine engine was written.Then FMEA and FTA wasadopted to identify the function failure of marine engine system,and to select evaluation index and model of marine engine.(3)The paper introduces Bayesian network theory,and calculates the probability of failure of the components in engine system by using Bayesian networks EM algorithm with incomplete information,then uses expert scoring system to evaluate marine engine system with incomplete information system for judging its state.The maintenance cycle coefficient K was determined based on state evaluation,leading to the change of maintenance timing of marine engine system.And an example was for verification.
