Theimportant way of solving the shortage of water resources,relieving theurban flood damage and improving the urban ecological environment is rainwater utilization.Urban public garden greenarea as an important carrier of stormwater management,its process of the construction and development should be under the guidance of the concept of LID,adjust measures to local conditions with using reasonable technology facilities,for maximizing the utilization of rainwater resources.The research on the existing rainwater utilization technology facilities and the quality of runoff from different kinds of city interface is of great significance for the scientific use of rainwater.The article is based on the project of Shenzhen Fairylake Botanical Garden which was named”Integrated Application Research of Rainwater Utilization Technology in the Public Gardens”.The main research work includes the following several parts.Researching the rainwater collection and utilization potential and analyzing the main influencing factors of the potential in 6 municipal parks of Shenzhen.Summarizing the form,method and characteristics of rainwater collection and utilization system by the means of studying the cases of rainwater collection and utilization.Based on the engineering which is about the rainwater storage and slow release in the podocarpus garden of the Fairylake Botanical Garden,to explore the appropriate rainwater storage methods and to figure out the method and key points of the rainwater utilization which is not restricted by time and space.Based on the different interface stormwater runoff,exploring the rain runoff water quality changes and different pollution level of the interface and putting forward the key points of srormwater runoff through the experimental analysis.Main conclusions are as follows:(1)The rainwater storage and utilization potential of city park can be measured by the rainwater storage and utilization efficiency.The ratio of the actual amount of rainwater storage and utilization and the theoretical precipitation is the rainwater storage andutilization efficiency.Park green space and water space has been the biggest influence on the rainwater storage and utilization potential of city park.Park green space proportion and rainwater storage and utilization efficiency is inversely proportional roughly.Water space proportion is proportional to the rainwater storage and utilization efficiency.The other influence factors of the rainwater storage and utilization efficiency of city park inc luding the proportion of buildings,roads,square.In addiction,the use of porous pavement has more influence on the rainwater storage and utilization efficiency.(2)In the garden,the forms of rainwater storage and utilization includes the following several aspects:collecting rainwater by combining with the terrain,creating rainwaterscape by combining with plants,purifying rainwater by combining with public facilities,promoting the rain infiltration by combining with pavement.The main methods include collecting rainwater by using porous pavement,constructing green roofs and so on.Conveying the rainwater by constructing grass ditch,vegetation buffer strand,drainage ditch and so on.Collecting and using rainwater by making use of the river,lake and wetland and so on.(3)The characteristics of rainwater collection and utilization of garden are: 1)Aquatic plant system is the main mode for rain water purification.2)The main ways of combining rainwater utilization technology facilities with landscape including the following way: combining with natural conditions,combining with landscape facilities and making the technology facilities more artistic.3)Rainwater utilization form is relatively boring.(4)The enlightenment of the cases of rainwater co llecting and utilization at home and abroad is:1)Spreading the concept of rainwater utilization by stormwater management.2)Coordinating the relationship between field and the rainwater collection and utilization,suiting the conditions,making full use o f space resources 3)Plant landscape system is an important part of landscape construction in the rainwater collection and utilization.4)Expanding the functions of rain technology facilities.(5)The reasons of the feasibility of rainwater utilization wit hout the restrict of time and space are:1)Urban rainfall is sufficient and the amount of rainwater collecting and utilization is large.2)The water flux of optimal storage is considerable and low cost.3)The technical facilities of the rainwater storage and utilization system can be layoutedflexiblitily.(6)The change rule of different interface of rainwater runoff water quality and putting forward the key points of srormwater runoff.1)The situation of rain runoff water pollution was complex.,2)Surface rainwater runoff pollutants from all interface with the overall rainfall time showed a trend of decrease.3)Rainfall runoff pollutants concentration of interface influenced by time interval.4)In the garden environment,the rain runoff water quality of square is the best,and the roadway's is the worst.5)Stormwater runoff of serious pollution should process initial rainwater discarding.6)Slight pollution rainwater runoff can be used as daily miscellaneous water through simple processing.
