In recent years,China's civil aviation transportation industry has developed into a blowout.The airlines have actively expanded and gone abroad.China has become the second largest civil aviation transportation market in the world after the United States.Wuhan is a megacity and central city in central China.Its economic development is rapid.Its geographical distances to Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Chengdu and Chongqing are all about 1,000 kilometers.With the country's “eight horizontal and eight vertical” high-speed rail network,in recent years,the growth rate of the Wuhan passenger transport market has been low.At the same time,starting from 2014,due to the limitation of the peak hourly capacity at Wuhan TianheAirport,the growth rate of each airline's capacity input is lower than the national average,resulting in the growth rate of Wuhan Tianhe Airport's passenger throughput being lower than the national average.China Southern Airlines has been deeply plowing in the Wuhan aviation market for many years.Its passenger market share and capacity input share ranks first in the industry.Hubei branch is one of its 23 subsidiaries.It is based on Wuhan Tianhe Airport,depending on China Southern Airlines' perfect Route Network layout,Hubei Branchhas achieved a good development situation.At the same time,many other China Southern Airlines branches have considerable capacityinput in Wuhan.However,currently Wuhan aviation Passenger Transport market is highly competitive,especially China Eastern Airlineshas developed rapidly in Wuhan in recent years,its number of flights are quite close to China Southern Airlines' in Wuhan.With the rapid development of mobile Internet technology and OTA,and with the need for passengers' multiple personalities,under the wave of economic globalization,China's economy has also entered a new normal state of development.With the deepening of China's foreign economic,trade,and cultural development,the national“The Belt and Road” initiativeis steadily advancing.Domestic aviation companies have stepped out of the country and actively explored and pursued an internationalization strategy.Large foreign aviation companies have also begun to rush to China.Not only have they made efforts in the large-scale international hubs like Beijing,Shanghai and Guangzhou,they have also entered second-tier cities such as Wuhan,which has poses a considerable threat to domestic airlines.This paper takes the development of Wuhan aviation passenger transport market of China Southern Airlines as the research object,and analyzes its strategic background,strategic environment and strategic guarantees,then formulate the developmentand implementation strategy of China Southern Airlines in Wuhan.In order to promote the development of China Southern Airlines in Wuhan,it also provides a new method and idea for the strategic positioning and management of aviation companies.
