Oscillating bearing with self-lubricating gasket is widely used in these areas such as aviation,biological medicine,transportation equipment manufacturing for its characters of high bearing capacity,long life,flexible rotation,no lubrication,etc.,especially in some mechanism which can bear big load,low speed movement for a long time or owning the ability to take the initiative to restore their own state.The tribological performance and service life of gasket directly affect the service performance and service life of knuckle bearing.At present,the gasket test is mainly done on the test machine.Self-lubricating gasket life testing machine is the important equipment in the evaluation of gasket's performance and life testing and its precision directly affects the accuracy of bearing's tribology performance evaluation.In order to produce high precision,good quality and durable self-lubricating gasket life testing machine,other than new and advanced design,we analyze its manufacture process deeply which can avoid unnecessary failure parts and ensure the precision and operational performance of the parts.This article altogether is divided following several aspects from design on processing,manufacturing,and assembly process to study elf-lubricating gasket life testing machine.1)The finite element analysis.Firstly,this article has analyzed testing machine's all structures and finishes project pattern transformation.Secondly,it sets up the finite element model and validates the machine parts on the maximum stress through numerical analysis.Thirdly,it analyzes the performance of the selected parts material requirements and provides theoretical data for parts processing.2)The mechanical processing technology is designed.It carries out the dimension chain calculation on the tolerance of each part of the test machine and determines the processing belt's tolerance of adjust gasket when the test machine is assembled.This article takes loading tongs for example.In order to ensure the processing quality and precision of the parts,it analyzes the main manufacturing procedure and determines the detailed processing scheme.Ultimately it meets the requirements of assembly quality and provides a basis for testing machine assembly.3)Complete the assembly and commissioning of the test machine.It confirms the testmachine's assembly process mainly through analysis the assembly drawings and combining the actual assembly requirements of the parts and completes the assembly of the test machine;and we also adjust the test machine according to the design limits work requirements,to ensure it can meet the actual work requirements.The content of this project is derived from the research onmanufacturing process of self-lubricating gasket life testing machine which the author participate in.The project has been completed successfully.
