Self-lubricating spherical plain bearings with high performance are used in various important occasions in aerospace.In the aerospace field,the requirements for lightweighting are getting higher and higher,and bearing materials are an important factor affecting the degree of lightweighting.At present,the outer ring material of the bearing is usually selected from stainless steel,copper alloy,etc.None of these materials can meet the requirements of light weight.At the same time,the currently used self-lubricating pads are woven pads,which are difficult to manufacture and costly,and the performance of the pads is restricted by the assembly process.This article proposes to use titanium alloy material as the outer ring material of the bearing to achieve weight reduction,and to manufacture self-lubricating gaskets by means of injection-molded polyetheretherketone(PEEK).Study on the forming process of the outer ring and the injection molding process of the liner in the manufacturing process of the self-lubricating spherical plain bearingA process suitable for titanium alloy outer ring forming is designed,which mainly includes the design of the outer ring blank,the design of the mold,and the forming principle is explained.The forming process was simulated and analyzed After a large number of calculations and analysis,the deviation between the ideal radius of the inner surface of the outer ring blank and the formed radius is controlled within 0.06 mm to achieve precision forming of the titanium alloy outer ring.An injection molding process suitable for self-lubricating gaskets for self-lubricating bearings is designed,which mainly includes the determination of process parameters,the design of the pouring system,the design of the mold core,the design of the guidance system,the design of the ejection mechanism,and the cooling system Design,this design is only a preliminary design,and later needs to be improved based on the results of simulation analysis.The injection molding process was simulated and analyzed Under this process condition,the warpage deformation of the gasket is 0.0338 mm,which can meet the requirements for use,so it can be determined that the designed injection molding process can be applied to the molding of self-lubricating gaskets.
