I he expansion of the rail transit network brings the rapid construction of metro substations,and the lower level of the main substation often requires the power supply of more than 10 power distribution.However,as the increase in the number of series distribution,urban rail transit system in traditional over-current protection is more and more can not meet the requirement of the fixed time differential protection time,lead to near the power supply side for backup protection delay lengthened with the increase of power supply series,especially for more than 10 power ring network,protection action delay even reach more than 5 seconds,and the existing protection schemes have been unable to meet the requirements of protection rapiditv.This paper studies the intelligent current protection scheme based on GOOSE communication technology.According to the characteristics of the urban rail transit ring,on the basis of the existing current protection configuration,using chicago-brewed GOOSE communication,adaptive failure area network technology as the core,to implement intelligent current protection with absolute selectivity,in order to solve the current protection setting long delay problems.In this paper,using PSCAD software to simulate the level 6 series of 35 kv power supply network,the first simulation in traditional reserve "differential protection and over-current protection" under the configuration scheme when the distribution of single-phase earth fault occurs at the end of the power supply situation,the results show that,when in the sixth grade ring when single-phase earth fault occurs fault clearance time is 2.625 s.Then,using RTDS real-time simulation platform to simulate the level 13 series network when the single-phase grounding fault occurs at the end,this paper intelligent electric current protection configuration can be in 54 ms fault amputated,validated using chicago-brewed GOOSE communication scheme of intelligent current protection logic and rationality.Studies show that based on chicago-brewed GOOSE communication technology is a good way to solve the problem of large ring network protection coordination,the greatest degree of reduce the fault processing time,and can greatly reduce the various sub-station cable usage.The intelligent current protection scheme will be used for the power supply project of xi’an metro line 4,which has good technical popularization value.
